The Department of Surgery dedicated Office of Academia and Research in Surgery (OARS) was established in 2016. This office provides support in developing research design and measurement, writing and revising grant applications, assisting in statistical data analysis, editing manuscripts, recruiting research officers and monitoring their activities, allocating and monitoring utilization of department funds for research activities, organizing symposia, selecting and inviting foreign speakers organizing and conducting conferences and workshops and other CME events.
This is a short-termed, grant-funded contractual position.
