This is a short-term grant-funded contractual position.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• assist the research team in planning, managing, and conducting research projects
• determine theoretical aspects of research problems and select appropriate methodologies
• conduct experiments, tabulate and correlate research data, and interpret results
• perform laboratory techniques such as tissue culture, viability assays, Western blotting, RT-PCR, and nucleic acid isolation
• write manuscripts, prepare presentations, and draft research proposals
• raise requisitions for chemicals and consumables and maintain records of all requisitions.

Requirements:

You should have:

• MSc/MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, etc.), or enrollment in an MPhil/PhD program at an FIEC-recognized or foreign institution
• at least one year of relevant research experience
• strong working knowledge of basic sciences and laboratory techniques
• ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute intellectually to research projects
• self-motivated, professional, and detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality research
• excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
