Senior Network Operations Manager

In this role, you will: 

• Managing the network operations team to deliver a high availability of services, meet business needs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and achieve excellence in customer service and satisfaction
• Growing and developing an existing team of hardworking and motivated engineers while establishing high expectations around individual ownership and impact
• Setting direction for the team, anticipating strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful long-term planning, and overall business objectives.
• Building relationships and collaborating with engineering teams and other OCI services leads to driving effective integrations and escalations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for network incident management program to support the team during critical and/or customer-impacting issues.
• Building an effective organization, coaching and mentoring engineers, and representing your organization to senior leadership

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale physical network support
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering and operations management role
• Experience in a technical leadership and management role
• Experience driving hiring, onboarding new engineers, and ongoing performance management
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences, including senior leadership
• Excellent judgment in influencing product roadmap direction, features, and priorities
• Prior experience with large-scale data center operations
• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering, or related field
• Understanding networking tools and automation frameworks is an added advantage
