Overview The Marketing Manager, flavours is responsible for supporting Marketing Director in the achievement of the annual operating plan for his/her portfolio i.e.: Mountain Dew, 7Up, Mirinda and Teem. Major responsibilities entail coordinating the flawless execution of the overall marketing calendar. To anticipate consumer trends and opportunities in the relevant segments and propose strategies and programs to realize those opportunities. To actively monitor the A&M budget and report the status periodically. Maintain & grow volume & share KPI’s as per AOP. Responsibilities Develop & coordinate the deployment of marketing initiatives, according to Marketing Calendar, from strategic discussion & development, all the way to communicating it to bottlers and sales force (Thematic campaigns, grassroots, promotions). Coordinate the development of work by local advertising & promotional agencies, as well as adaptation of PI Global & BU Regional campaigns Recommend & adapt marketing best practices from PI Global & BU Regional initiatives Recommend & coordinate the execution of market research. Co-develop with the FOBO Franchise organization, Trade Promotional programs and POS support. Lead the strategic discussions & project management around product innovation Recommend & support the development of local packaging innovation. Sales volume plan achievement. Share of segments and market share Brand equity KPIs for flavor brands. GRPs and CPRPs value enhancements and efficiencies. A&M Management and variance. Renewal of annual contract with media / advertising agencies and improving existing remuneration structure Ensure that the audit / GCS process is properly implemented (be GCS compliant at all times) Ensure suppliers are selected as per the GCS process and execute their duties as expected of them Qualifications Knowledge/Skills: MBA from a reputable local or international university Driving for results Collaborating & Influencing Skills Must be skilled in analysis and problem solving and have excellent project and financial management skills Creating an Inclusive Environment Competencies Creativity, analytical experience. Understanding the 4Cs (Consumers, Customers, Competitors, Channels) to develop sound insights and action plans. Marketing/Business Strategy Development through insights analysis, marketing plans and total system economics to deliver volume, revenue share and profit growth. Product/Package Innovation & Commercialization Advertising & Creative Development Agency Leadership Consumer/Customer Promotions, events development and In-Store Merchandising Media Strategy and execution.
