General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:

Skillset:
- 3 to 7 years of experience with C, embedded systems programming and basics of Java, VB.
- Strong knowledge in JAVA card OS, Global Platform and RSP (Remote SIM Provisioning).
- Experience in SIM OS development, SIM applet development and testing.
- Knowledge of cryptographic keys and key management.
- Experience with JTAG-enabled devices, hardware simulators/emulators.
- Experience with ARM-Cortex and/or RISC-V.
- Team player who can function well with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities will include:
- SIM OS understanding and development
- Maintenance and support of SIM OS (Debug and Fix)
- Validation and creation of sample SIM profile.
- Validation of the tools to be used in SIM production.
- Understanding of production setup
- Requirement gathering as per the requirement to the application developer
- Co-ordination with other departments: software engineering, quality, Data Center, production etc. for the new product launch.
