Overview Design, implement and manage information systems to support PSP’s GTM strategies. Recognise opportunities of new or improved automation processes for the business. Plan and lead execution of cross department business solutions projects. Responsibilities 1. S&D System Development & Implementation: ▪ Understand information requirements of S&D organization and design systems to support them ▪ Understand PI IT standards and ensure that local system development adheres to PI Standards. ▪ Ensure all new developments are properly tested before being implemented in environment 2. S&D Data Management & Report/ KPI Development: ▪ Develop standard reports to facilitate routine data requirements ▪ Coordinate with GBS team on Data Management for S&D reporting ▪ Lead and maintain KPIs reporting in S&D function 3. S&D System Improvement: ▪ Understand industry best practices and PI standards and implement them where applicable. ▪ Develop new systems and customize existing systems to meet changing business needs ▪ Implement new technologies and system upgrades as they become available 4. S&D System Sustainability: ▪ Collaborate with Sales GTM, and IT team in sustaining the solutions at distribution level ▪ Report all bugs and error to IT team for permanent resolution related to S&D application ▪ Continuously work in collaboration with various function to improve the efficiency and usage of SD applications 5. S&D Software Documentation: ▪ Acquire and maintain relevant functionalities documentation (User Manuals) from IT team for end users ▪ Maintain documentation of KPIs inventory being used in reporting tools for S&D function 6. Project Management: ▪ Recognises opportunities for business or valid applications across a very broad technical front and shows ability to take action and exploit such opportunities across all departments. ▪ Assist senior management towards accepting change brought about through Information systems, showing understanding, imagination and creativity. ▪ Identifies and assesses options for the implementation of new or improved automation processes and presents them, with recommendations, to decision makers at senior management level. 7. Solution Design & Development: ▪ Identifies and plans necessary change management activities to implement approved new or alternative processes in a project. ▪ Monitors overall progress and initiates corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverables are produced on time and within budget. ▪ Puts in place systems, processes and measures to ensure that exceptions, slippage and issues of priority are effectively managed, and that extra activities are initiated wherever gaps in the development cycle are identified. 8. Project Monitoring: ▪ Ensures coherence of the development cycle, by monitoring changes in project portfolio and reassessing whether projects continue to meet business objectives and to use funds efficiently. Recommends cancellation of projects, and initiation of new projects, within the programme. ▪ Reports progress of the project to senior management. 9. Solution Deployment: ▪ Takes responsibility for the successful completion of major projects and programmes of work, establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables of project to the business. ▪ Ensures that significant problems are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented in line with the change control process at an early stage of project development cycle. 10. Resource Development/Management ▪ Leads one or more large/medium projects, developing and maintaining human and material resource plans and monitoring the deployment of individuals to ensure that they are contributing effectively whilst developing skills and experience. ▪ Keeps on monitoring and controling team performance against plans. ▪ Undertakes / proposes any necessary training associated with the duties of the end users. Recommends the same for the team. Qualifications Knowledge/Skill Experience Competencies ➢ BCS/MCS or equivalent Degree ➢ Effective business communication skills – written and verbal ➢ 2-3 years experience in Software management ➢ 2-3 years experience in management reporting and Business ➢ Understanding of core business processes ➢ Understanding of sales operations ➢ Capability to identify, communicate, mitigate, manage and monitor risks
