Role : Sales Finance Analyst


Location Hyderabad


Job Purpose/Overview


  • Develops overall Channel, brand growth and earnings frameworks and driving activities to improve Organised Trade Channel (Digital Commerce) and brand business models (e.g., brand/pack profitability, Channel Profitability etc.)


  • Responsible for co-piloting of cross-functional activity teams responsible for driving brand growth and profitability and providing in-depth financial analysis and recommendations for business activities with special focus on e-commerce


  • Responsible for co-piloting the Sales Leadership and Customer Account teams, providing financial leadership and decision support to achieve profitable growth; analyzes sales activities and recommends best utilization of Sales-controllable funds to drive ROI on Trade spends.


  • Responsibilities also include managing the overall governance and control framework for the segment and work closely with the Finance excellence center to ensure that organization’s transactions are processed accurately and on time.


  • Work with DCOM Team and establish control and governance from demand forecasting, accruals, final clearance.


  • Key Pillar to work the Customers to build Finance to Finance relationships ensuring faster issue resolutions


Job Responsibilities


  • Lead strategic revenue management initiatives to improve sales, Mix and profitability in the Organised Trade and General trade Channel.


  • Lead the governance / internal controls with respect to different business Channel. Applying limits of authority including credit authorization, write – offs, etc. and implementing business processes to identify main risks & controls.


  • Serve as the Finance Co-pilot, partnering with Demand Leadership and Account teams to drive profitable sales growth in the customer accounts including management of the Trade spends/ expenditure.


  • Lead the financial planning, analysis and presentations to Sales leader of budgets, forecasts, long range plans and monthly performance reports and manages account and channel P&L’s to deliver optimal sales and profit delivery.


  • Partner with Sales team to obtain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer and channel strategies, risks and opportunities, promotional activities and financial metrics. Recommends how to optimally deploy the sales specific resources to best meet the needs of the business


  • Lead the Working capital management initiatives for the Unit [including inventory and AR forecasts]


  • Partnering with OTC function to drive business hygiene and efficiency.


Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Qualification – CA


2. Knowledge/Experience


  • Overall experience of 2 to 4 years, preferable in a FMCG with a strong working knowledge of Financial accounting, financial planning & Controls and Governance.


  • Prior FP&A, Trade Sales Finance experience is preferable.


  • Working experience with sap and any other similar ERP Systems.
