As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the development of innovative, high-performance, and scalable web applications. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Ruby on Rails applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and expertise.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the Ruby and Rails ecosystem.
Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
In-depth knowledge of Ruby language and the Rails framework.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Strong relational database skills, with experience in PostgreSQL or similar databases.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
TDD/BDD experience with tools like RSpec or similar.
