The Institute has three Professional Development Centre in Karachi, Gilgit and Chitral. This is a grant funded contractual position based in Karachi.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:extensive school visits to collect data from children, teachers, and parents attending trainingsreplicating the training with the teachers in participating schoolscurriculum modificationtraining of young facilitatorshelping ECE teachers to create a favourable learning environmentmentoring the ECE teachers and young facilitators to enhance the foundational literacy, numeracy, social and emotional skills of young childrenhelping in stakeholder consultationdata collectiondata analysesreport writingpublicationsconference presentationsteam management. RequirementsYou should have:Master’s or MPhil in Education preferably focusing on early childhood education or foundational literaciesat least 2 years of experience in educational research, curriculum design, and teacher training, particularly in early childhood education, foundational literacies, and primary education; having publication experience will be an assetresearch expertise (both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies)early childhood education and foundational literacies curriculum review, analysis and or development play-based and active learning pedagogiestraining/capacity-building Skillsproject management skills strong intercultural communicationlanguage proficiencypublications.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
