Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
collaborate with the design and research teams to gather requirements and create app prototypes
develop and maintain the mobile application for school health services, ensuring optimal performance and usability
integrate health resources, wellness exercises, and communication tools into the application
write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices
perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the application’s stability and security
participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality
collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
document development processes and create user guides as needed
update the application based on stakeholder feedback and evolving project requirements
monitor and evaluate application performance, incorporating improvements as necessary
stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions
conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback and optimize the application’s usability
participate in regular meetings with researchers, educators, and other stakeholders to align development efforts with project goals.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: You should have:
a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
at least three years of professional experience in Android application development
a proven track record of delivering mobile applications from concept to deployment
proficiency in Flutter and Java
experience with Android SDK and third-party libraries and APIs
a strong understanding of UI/UX principles for Android platforms
experience in implementing secure and scalable solutions
familiarity with testing frameworks for Android applications.
