Introduction
The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to supervise and monitor the research activities including data collection as well as maintain necessary records, create and sustain liaison with the relevant stakeholders for the smooth implementation of all necessary activities of the project. Specific responsibilities include to:
• screening, eligibility confirmation, and enrollment of potential participants after the initial complete evaluation of the patient in coordination with the doctor on duty• correctly introduce the study to potential participants, administer the consent form, and correctly complete all CRFs to maintain all study-related data• design and plan social mobilization strategies for community people to cooperate/collaborate with Research projects• complete assessment and re-assessment of study participants to identify their care needs and resolve their day-to-day health-related issues• maintain a daily log sheet and share it with the assigned team leader. Report day-to-day issues to the study supervisor• notification of any adverse events to the Site Supervisor and Project manager• writing manuscripts & protocols• be in liaison with other hospital staff and administration and follow hospital rules and regulations. Provide support in the clinical care of the patients• prepare and present weekly, fortnightly, and monthly project reports and presentations for the progress of the study being carried out at multiple locations• willing to accept any required additional/new responsibilities when and if required by the study team.
Requirements
You should have: • MBBS with a valid PMDC License • one-two year of experience in research, highlight your role in the research you have worked• ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively• ability to work in a team setting• good communication and interpersonal Skills • resilience and ability to cope with work pressure • willing to work in the hospitals, communities/field sites for patient recruitment• good computer and report writing skills.
