Job Role / Responsibilities:

This role involves supporting patient discharge planning and research activities within a healthcare setting including communicating with patients about their discharge, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing research support, including data collection, entry, and analysis.

You will be responsible to:

• ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of recruitment and data collection activities at AKU
• run the After hospital care plan including tele consultation for discharge follow up, communication with teams, documenting in My patients , collecting data on outcome indicators
• maintain data quality control, conduct data management and data analysis as required
• submit quarterly data reports on a timely basis (as per registry deadlines)
• assist in preparing manuscripts and abstracts for publication and presentation as required
• participation in collaborative efforts related data in Department of Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

• current registration from Pakistan Nursing council
• graduate from Recognized school of nursing (BSc Nursing)
• certification in Basic Life support, safe Medication Administration, IV cannulation preferred.
• intermediate / Graduate with some relevant research experience
• additional research experience will be preferred or having a research degree will be preferred
• five 2-3 years of professional clinical experience in the area of specialty
• prior experience of working in a project within or outside AKU will be preferred
• working knowledge of MS Office, statistical analysis (SPSS) will be preferred.
