Research Associate, Department of Community Health Sciences

It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health & climate change, and non-communicable diseases & mental health. This is a grant-funded contractual position.


Responsibilities:
You are required to:
  • oversee research protocols, consent forms, and data collection procedures in line with ethical standards
  • conduct literature reviews related to healthcare quality assessment
  • act as a liaison with administrative departments, such as HR and Finance, to support project-related procurements and staffing needs
  • coordinate with faculty and data analysts for comprehensive research data analysis
  • assist in preparing manuscripts, reports, abstracts, and conference presentations
  • document and maintain meeting minutes, ensuring follow-ups on assigned tasks
  • participate in both online and in-person meetings with stakeholders, policymakers, and relevant institutions.
Requirements:
You should have:
  • a master’s degree (MA, MSc, MS, MSPH, or MPhil)
  • minimum of one year of research experience, ideally in healthcare quality assessment
  • strong skills in data entry, management, and analysis
  • excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • willingness to travel for field data collection if required.
