Position Overview:
The Regional Manager for B2B Conventional Indirect Sales Channel is responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within a designated region through indirect sales channels. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with partners to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve growth objectives in the B2B conventional indirect sales channel.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and manage existing relationships to drive sales performance.
Channel Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with indirect sales partners, including distributors, resellers, and agents.
- Monitor and assess the performance of indirect sales channels, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management of both Internal employees and partners.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and regular feedback of partners.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales activities and channel performance.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address performance gaps and drive results.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Engage with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Resolve any issues or concerns that may arise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product management, Channel Planning and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and successful outcomes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in B2B sales management, preferably within the conventional indirect sales channel.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, channel management, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, develop actionable insights, and drive results.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [B2B Sales Management & Tech industry] or a related field.
- Familiarity with [B2B Products & Services sales tools or methodologies.
- Knowledge of regional market conditions and customer preferences.
Working Conditions:
- Travel within the designated region is required.
