QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting with visible career progression; recruiting both campus and industry hires in a multinational organization, financial services or professional services firm
- Previous experience as a recruiter in a management consultancy company is considered a strong plus
- Previous experience in higher volume recruiting environment preferred
- Previous experience in Pakistan and understanding of the talent market in Pakistan is required
- Self starter with high levels of drive and desire to achieve
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong working relationships with candidates, recruiting colleagues and colleagues at all levels; and positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in strong team environment, yet work independently to see projects through to completion
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail yet mindful of the big picture
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize and to deal with high candidate volumes
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and accommodate team demands
- Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations or last minute changes; comfortable working with minimal direction and ambiguity
- Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient with database management
- Flexible working hours (i.e., willing to work long hours if needed especially during the peak recruiting season)
- Willingness to travel to recruiting events in Pakistan as needed
- Analytical skills, having the ability to apply judgment on internal data source quality and the ability to access external knowledge quickly
- Ability to use proficiently: Excel (pivots, analysis), as well as PowerPoint and Word
- Demonstrate initiative, judgment and maturity; mindful of external reputation; deal with confidential information with discretion, respect and care
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our Karachi office as part of our Middle East Recruiting team. You will work in partnership with our internal clients where you will get great exposure across different client groups and build a uniquely broad perspective of the consulting roles that the firm has to offer. This role will report to the Manager of Recruiting, Middle East Office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will serve as point of contact for Pakistan recruiting, contribute to the development of the recruiting strategy by talent pool (e.g., undergraduates, postgraduates, experienced professionals) for the office and take ownership of direct sourcing activities for a range of different profiles as well as the recruiting activities with select universities.
You will act as a key contact for candidates throughout the full recruitment cycle, including attraction, selection offer stage, and cultivation and co-create and drive online and offline recruiting events (e.g., early career programs, workshops, presentations, campus fairs).
You will work with career services, referrals, school alumni groups and any other new sources of talent as well as work closely with international colleagues across the world to identify talent for Pakistan.
Additionally, you will support management with analysis of relevant data and systems, including candidate tracking databases and decision meeting tools, collaborate with colleagues in Pakistan Office for recruiting activities and work closely and align with Pakistan Office Leadership.
