Looking for Food Quality Assurance Auditor in Lahore Pakistan

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Detailed description of the Roles and Responsibilities entailed in this position is as follows;


1. Conduct Regular Audits


  • Perform routine and unannounced audits of JJs restaurant locations to assess compliance with company standards and industry regulations.


  • Assess all areas of operations including food safety, hygiene, kitchen procedures, inventory management, and customer service practices.


  • Verify that restaurants adhere to proper storage, preparation, and handling of food products (e.g., FIFO, temperature controls).


  • Review equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and proper sanitization protocols.


  • Review operational procedures, including product handling, inventory turnover, and kitchen flow, to ensure efficiency without compromising quality.


  • Audit Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) processes, ensuring consistent service delivery and product quality.


  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local food safety laws and regulations


  • Stay updated on changes to food safety regulations and ensure the chain's compliance.


  • Review customer complaints related to product quality, food safety, or hygiene and review root cause analysis performed by branch staff to determine actionable improvements.


  • Monitor and audit customer feedback channels (e.g., reviews, surveys, complaint logs) to identify areas for quality improvements.


2. Food Safety Compliance


  • Ensure that all food safety standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), local health and safety regulations, and company policies are strictly followed.


  • Check for compliance with personal hygiene standards among staff, proper use of gloves, hairnets, and other protective clothing.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of pest control programs and ensure proper waste management procedures are in place.


3. Reporting


  • Document findings from audits, detailing areas of non-compliance and recommended corrective actions.


  • Generate audit reports with clear action points and deadlines for follow-up.


  • Maintain detailed records of each audit, including photographic evidence and comments from the location branch management team.


4. Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement:


  • Work closely with restaurant management to develop corrective action plans for identified non-compliance issues.


  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and re-audit if necessary to ensure sustained compliance.


  • Identify recurring issues and collaborate with the QA team to develop training programs or policy changes to mitigate these issues.


5. Customer Feedback & Complaint Handling:


  • Review customer complaints related to product quality, food safety, or hygiene and conduct root cause analysis to determine actionable improvements.


  • Monitor and audit customer feedback channels (e.g., reviews, surveys, complaint logs) to identify areas for quality improvements.


6. Cross-Department Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with various departments such as operations, supply chain, HR and Training to ensure quality initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.


  • Provide input into product development, menu changes, and supplier selection from a quality assurance perspective.


7. General


  • Perform other assignments and tasks as instructed by Line Manager.


  • Ensure compliance with organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and guidelines.


  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all audits and follow-ups conducted.


  • Uphold objectivity and transparency throughout the audit process.


QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelors degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.


  • Certifications in food safety auditing, such as HACCP, GMP, or ISO 22000 are highly desirable.


  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in the food or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry.


  • Hands-on experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions
