Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and related initiatives. This role serves as the primary contact for all BCMS-related matters, ensuring alignment with the overall business requirements and objectives. The successful candidate will monitor the current state of BCMS, identify gaps, and develop capabilities to bridge those gaps, while overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the BCM program.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory):
- Professional Qualification: Relevant certification in Business Continuity Management (BCM).
- Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of BCMS and relevant standards such as ISO 22301 and NCEMA.
- Experience: Proven experience managing business continuity practices.
- Managerial Skills: Experience in a managerial role.
- Risk Knowledge: Understanding of organizational risk maturity and relevant risk management principles.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- IT Understanding: Solid background in Information Technology (IT).
- Project Management: Experience in setting up and implementing organizational BCM projects.
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional):
- Experience in conducting internal audits of BCMS.
- Background in training and awareness program development.
- Knowledge of recovery strategies and crisis management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Risk Management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BCM or related roles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present reports to management.
- Experience in planning and facilitating training and awareness programs for staff and vendors.
- Proven track record of engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective BCM strategies.
