Job Role and Responsibilities:
As a Programmer Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding AKU's Global ERP and Administrative system and developing innovative software solutions. You will work across all phases of the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to implementation and quality assurance, while maintaining a collaborative and proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operations, expansions, support, and implementation of AKU Global ERP within the University and its global affiliates.
- Develop and maintain software applications, gaining in-depth knowledge of both technical and business aspects of existing systems.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Apply data modeling and analysis techniques to support decision-making and optimize ERP solutions.
- Learn and utilize ERP-specific development tools; such as PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, and REST APIs.
- For development and maintenance, use modern programming languages and tools, such as VB, VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, HTML, React, AngularJS, SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server Stored Procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation for applications and processes.
- Operate within established quality standards to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare a self-development plan in collaboration with supervisors and pursue continuous professional development.
- Address special assignments and contribute to innovation projects as directed by the supervisor/manager.
Education:
- A recognized degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, MBA in MIS).
Experience:
- Fresh graduates to professionals with up to 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates with experience in developing or supporting software solutions for Human resource management in higher education institutions will be preferred.
