What is Product Manager Consumer Platforms?
Product Manager Consumer Platforms is a high impact, critical position that will challenge you to work at a fast pace and tackle a wide variety of problems & products. Your focus on meticulous organization and coordination will be instrumental in driving product initiatives & your customer obsession and data driven approach will be the key to success.
This position reports to the Head of Product – Payments & Platforms at JazzCash.
What does Product Manager Consumer Platforms do?
- Lead the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Develop & utilize data analytics to monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to consumer platforms that include but not limited to the consumer app, USSD & backend capabilities.
- Work with UI designers to create intuitive, seamless, and engaging experiences.
- Develop business cases for new product opportunities, including projected costs, revenue, and profitability.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop a detailed product roadmap that prioritizes features based on business impact, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centricity within the team.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Plan, and implement a long-term vision for the Payments platform and necessary capabilities to support long-term future growth, efficiency and seamless integration with Payments partners.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, business stakeholders and drive alignment on roadmap.
- Setup a robust tracking & reporting infrastructure to monitor platform performance and improvement areas.

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Product Manager Consumer Platforms?
- 5+ years of experience working as a product manager in a tech organisation.
- Proven experience in building successful mobile apps, including deep knowledge of iOS and Android platforms
- Ability to gather insights, conduct market research, and perform competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Have track record of effective leadership and ability to influence others, including aligning a large group of stakeholders on an effective solution to a thorny problem.
- You will be able to apply your data driven mindset, technical background and UX approach and to create the best possible experience for the end customers.
