What is Product Expert – Merchant Ecosystem?
As a Product Expert – Merchant Ecosystem, you are responsible for crafting a comprehensive value proposition for merchants and spearheading growth initiatives to attract distinctive customers for QR payments. Additionally, you'll be tasked with aiding in the creation of products and campaigns aimed at expanding merchant-to-distributor payments.
The role reports directly to the Product Manager – Growth & Ecosystem of JazzCash.
What does Product Expert – Merchant Ecosystem do?
Outline the journey of all types of merchants/businesses and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing value by developing tailored solutions to meet their specific needs. Additionally, ensure focus on the following key responsibilities:
· Merchant Acquisition Strategy: Work closely with the marketing and channels team to formulate and implement strategies for acquiring merchants, aimed at boosting app downloads, and increasing active users.
· Customer Acquisition: Develop campaigns and strategic plans to attract QR customers and promote various payment use cases.
· Collaboration and Reporting: Engage with cross-functional teams, including product development, design, and analytics, to synchronize strategies and regularly report on performance metrics.
· Partnerships: Building strategic partnerships to catalyse merchant acquisition, and improve the overall business prospects
· Coordination with Stakeholders: Foster effective communication and coordination among team members and external departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements
· Masters/ Bachelor’s degree in Management/ Business/ Engineering
· 3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG sector or Product Management/Growth
· Knowledge of Fintech industry
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Market & consumer insight analysis
· KPI Tracking & performance measurement
· Self-directed and able to work without supervision
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
