What The Role Offers

• Leads the resolution of significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
• Leads large scale projects, programs, and deliverables of sizeable scope and impact.
• Demonstrate implemented functionality to different stakeholders and/or customers.
• A centric function in the PE pillar. Involvement in design and conceptual discussions cross teams inside the group, as well as outside of it and the pillar and BU levels.
• Increasingly deliver value beyond the team by driving the development of functional or business unit objectives
• Apply best practices and coding patterns that ensure world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular and of high code quality.
• Foster product innovation  
• Foster deliveries efficiency, high standards and quality  
•  Recommends policies and standards around which others will operate

What you will need to succeed:

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript). At least 3 years hands on experience with one of the following: NodeJs / TypeScript / Angular.
• Proficient understanding in Cloud computing fundamentals in general, and AWS in particular.
• Proven experience in building large scale correct, maintainable software components through a broad set of software design skills
• Proven ability to act as a technical lead for the projects, recognized by others for the growing domain expertise
• Strong customer orientation with proven ability to decompose customer problems or business scenarios into designs composed of multiple software components interacting with each other
• Ability to raise the skill level of less experienced members by helping with toolboxes and setting a good example
• Strong leader for the pillar with technical and business influence extending outside the group
• Ability to define and refine technical roadmaps for complex projects providing situational leadership for the people
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with secure software development.
