We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Payments Infra Business Analyst
Principal responsibilities
The Business Analyst role is accountable for successful delivery of the projects and ensuring benefits realisation and will hold the following :
Review of global and regional Functional Change Requests to assess validity and feasibility in line with current user requirements:
- SME for global requirements, assessing applicability to current user requirements.
- Advisor to initiators of regional Change Requests assessing applicability in line with current user requirements.
- Ensure consistency with global payment processing workflow as far as possible, driving out local changes unless driven by pressing Business, regulatory or compliance needs.
- Ensure no delivery timescales are missed and costs are equal to or lower than forecast for Functional Requirement Documents and working with the Vendor, Functional Requirement Specification Documents.
- Maintain rigorous change control standards around requirements documentation.
- Cost effectiveness based on return on investment, cross region application and reduction from initial cost estimates through intelligent review and cost challenges to IT and Vendor.
- Organise and run meetings with key regional and technical stakeholders to review user requirements and advise on the appropriate approach to any functional change.
- Ensure delivery of global requirements within existing GPI Target Operating Model and strategy.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Ensure requirements are correctly matched to the ATP and release pipeline.
- Accurate tracking of changes to ensure the signed off document is recognized and approved by all stakeholders.
