About the job O&M ENGINEER (TECHNICAL SUPPORT)

COMPANY OVERVIEW


Our Client, a Karachi based Energy Renewable company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:


The position of Technical Support will report to Manager Operation & Maintenance and will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and customer service for renewable energy solutions. This role acts as the primary point of contact for regional teams and customers, ensuring timely support, relationship building, and gathering market intelligence to enhance customer satisfaction and business strategy.


Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as the main technical liaison for regional teams, addressing their concerns and coordinating solutions effectively
  • Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of customer technical issues, minimizing system downtime and disruptions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to provide actionable insights for product and service improvement
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges in coordination with field teams and other stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions to support continuous improvement
  • Provide technical training and guidance to customers and regional teams to enhance their understanding of the systems
  • Work closely with the Operations & Maintenance team to ensure alignment on technical strategies and solutions

Education


  • Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Experience


  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Requirements


  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
  • Ability to analyze market data and provide strategic insights
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar technology, and industry standards
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Age


  • The candidate should be preferably not more than 33 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
