The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities.The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Obgyn) was commissioned in the year 1986 and offers wide range of academic programs and clinical services. The academic programs cater to undergraduate medical students, interns, FCPS and MCPS residents, Fellows and Physicians. You will be responsible to:Specific tasks will include:Delivering superior patient care by conducting thorough assessments, diagnoses, and general medical treatments in adherence to ethical guidelines and defined protocols.Facilitating timely assessment, reassessment, and discharge planning for patients; perform medical procedures under supervision.Administering correct medications and treatments as per the primary attending physician's recommendations.Completing necessary documentation and accurate and timely record-keeping by completing relevant forms.Staying updated on clinical practice guidelines, pathways, and hospital protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.Remaining vigilant about adherence to quality and infection control policies and practices during clinical practice. Requirements:You should have:An MBBS degree along a valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and a valid PMDC license.Minimum 1-2 years’ clinical experience in any reputable healthcare organization (inclusive of at least 3 months in Obgyn).Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently juggle multiple responsibilities.Willingness to work in shifts.Note: Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
