About the job Marketing Manager

Summary of Role:


The holder of this position is a key member of the local management team and plays a major role in the overall management of Pakistan operations. 


Responsibilities in Detail:


  • Develops effective, competitive marketing strategies/marketing plans to leverage products position in the market place and translate marketing strategies into day-to-day marketing tactics for sales force promotion execution.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill gaps and generate new ideas that lead to growth in market share, improving customer experience and product penetration.
  • Design branding, positioning, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with all business segments and work on enhancing overall business profitability.
  • Craft strategies for marketing team, including digital, advertising, communications, and creativity. Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels (like events, activities, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material). 
  • Identify opportunities, products to reach new market segments / areas and expanding market share of the company.
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features etc.) and develop counter strategies / tools, documentation, communications for supporting the sales.
  • Establish mutual understanding and trust relationship with sales team and effectively communicate brand marketing strategies to get sales team buy in.
  • Leading the development and execution of customer education and awareness programs. Suggest Market development initiatives: Driving good dialysis practices by implementing education and training initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain required market, products, competition, and business data for use by internal and external stakeholders
  • Planning and executing external and company events and budgets in coordination with management and sales team and optimizing expenses as per budgets.
  • Travel throughout the country and visit customers, clinics, and hospitals as per need.
  • Management reporting and coordinating and arranging periodic team meetings as per requirement. Effective collaboration with sales, QREM, finance and supply chain for analysis, and other departments for business support and achieving business goals.
  • Build and optimize important relationships and interactions with external and internal stakeholders, including key decision makers, regulators, public organizations, governmental institutions, insurance companies, providers, professional communities, and customer/client/patient groups. Work with guidance from regional colleagues

Qualifications, Experience and Characteristics Required:


Education & Industry experience:


  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing & Communications or similar area
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Medical Device industry.

Position Experience:


  • Around 3 years of marketing team management experiences in the multinational
  • Minimum 12-year sales management background is preferred
  • Experience in Renal is a plus

Skills and Competency:


  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good Computer skills, including Word /PowerPoint/Excel
