The RoleThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants a role with incredible impact. Businesses live and die on their ability to discern winning opportunities in the market. Your role will involve understanding our target market intimately, the needs/wants of our target audience and the competition with their various USPs. With this knowledge, we can craft products that can stand out from our competition, and resonate deeply with our target audience.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Carry out research and data analysis on a market niche, that will eventually lead to us developing a product that can stand out from the competition
- Study our competition, observing how they promote themselves and their products
- Understand the USP of our competitors’ products, with their pros, cons and USPs. We can gain incredible insight by studying their reviews.
- Identify who is our core audience? What are popular features our audience is looking for? What are their wants/needs?
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with high degree of ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex insights for end users
What We’re Looking For
- Preferable: 3+ market research experience in CPG markets
- E-commerce experience (especially Amazon) is preferable
- Ability to dig through data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to handle aggressive deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliable, transparent and enjoy working with different types of people.
- Top-tier academic performance at the undergraduate level
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and time management
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
