OVERVIEW
Manager, Title & Inventory Governance is part of the Global Production Delivery and Enterprise Metadata Governance Center of Excellence, within the Global Content Operations organization. It is a critical role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workflows/tasks for a team of Title Governance data analysts and implements strategy set by senior leadership. The person in this role will lead a team which performs extensive data analysis to govern logical title inventory for all content types and exploitation platforms, takes action to create/map/apply the correct metadata, and enforcesWBD data governance policies.They will lead large scale inventory migration projects, ensuring discreet title inventory is created and maintained. They will partner with other metadata leads in the establishmentof best practices and policy. English fluency is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner closely with CoE leadership, metadata governance colleagues,and business clients to develop and document operational and stakeholder requirements.
Ideate and develop workflow improvements and efficiencies through better systems functionality and new technology implementation (e.g. AI integration).Collaborates with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to technical teams, Programming, and other subgroups within Global Content Operations) to define problem statements, roadmaps, and execute priorities. Review ongoing development and manage issue remediation.
Provide operational & technical leadership and quality control, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and the scalability of workflows
Develop and implement best practices and data governance policy
Performs extensive data analysis across high volumes of all WBD title inventory, as part of several large-scale initiatives across the enterprise
Execute data mapping and the creation and/or modification of central inventory structures across multiple content supply chain systems and processes
Analyzes and executes on daily global requests for new title creation and mapping to existing title inventory
Works with key stakeholders globally, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving metadata conflicts
QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience in data analytics, data governance, database management
3+ years of management experience in the media industry, with knowledge of media workflows
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data governance, or data analytics.
Written and spoken English fluency required
Extensive knowledge of and appreciation for global media content as a consumer or education background in film/media is advantageous
Experience with taxonomies and taxonomy management applications is advantageous
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work
Ability to work to a deadline as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
