About Us:


Markaz is on the mission to supercharge the rails of e-commerce for the common man in Pakistan. We want to empower the Pakistani middle class, with a special focus on women who are currently not part of the Pakistani financial ecosystem, and help establish hundreds of thousands of new online entrepreneurs in the coming years. We enable anyone in Pakistan to start their online business with zero investment from the comfort of their home and make money by selling products through different social media channels like WhatsApp and Facebook. All they have to do is download the Markaz app, get access to 1,000s of products, share them on their social media with a profit margin and get orders. Markaz will take care of everything else: delivery, payments, customer experience and profit dissemination.

About the Role:


As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for managing relationships with logistics partners and analyzing data to drive improvements and meet key performance indicators. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for success.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the day-to-day delivery operations (first, middle and last mile)
  • Oversee the resolution and follow-up of disputed cases with delivery partners.
  • Act as a liaison between delivery partners and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to improve delivery percentage
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Report relevant KPIs to the Logistics Manager for tracking and decision-making.
  • Analyze the performance of delivery partners to identify areas for improvement

Qualification and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong sense of independence, self-confidence, and accountability.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Meticulous problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (familiarity with SQL / Power BI is a plus)
