About the role
As a Legal Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of a company, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This role involves providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, managing litigation, and mitigating legal risks. A Legal Manager works closely with various departments to ensure business operations align with legal requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Corporate Governance: Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide support in maintaining and updating corporate policies, bylaws, and governance documentation.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various contracts, agreements, and legal documents to safeguard the company's interests. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and provide timely legal advice to ensure compliance. Ensure timely filing of legal documents with regulatory bodies.
- Corporate Communications: Prepare and manage all legal correspondence with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, partners, and external legal advisors.
- Advisory Role: Provide legal counsel and guidance on various corporate matters including but not limited to mergers & acquisitions, business expansion, intellectual property, and employment law.
You must have
- 4-5 years of legal experience with strong analytical skills and proficiency in legal research tools.
- Skilled in legal research and analysis, with a strong ability to present complex legal matters clearly.
- Experienced in legal analysis, with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of business operations and compliance.
