COMPANY OVERVIEW


Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following position


Key Responsibilities


  • Review assigned Purchase Requisitions to ensure achievement of maximum competitive bids and compliance of PPRA rules with respect to specifications and/or terms & conditions
  • Review the technical evaluations by indenting departments to ensure compliance of PPRA rules and tender terms & conditions
  • Generate Approval/PAC Notes for necessary management approvals for timely issuance of and up-loading of bid evaluation report on PPRA website
  • Harmonize with relevant department(s) for deposit/release of all types of financial instruments, verification of performance guarantees and establishment of Letter of Credit to ensure compliance of SOPs
  • Generate change orders after obtaining necessary management approval to cater any revision in the specifications and terms & conditions of the service order
  • Undertake any other task or function as maybe desired by the management if in line with PPRA within circumference of company policy and procedures

Education


  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

Experience


  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Role Requirement:


  • Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
  • Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
  • Work with team members to complete duties as needed

Age


  • The candidate should preferably be not more than 33 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
