Job Overview:


As a Manager - Instructional Designer in the Customer Success department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our knowledge base is up-to-date and accessible to all members of our organization and clients. You will work closely with various departments to integrate the knowledge base into our processes and systems, and you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of our knowledge management framework. Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead and oversee the architecture and implementation of the overall knowledge management system, ensuring alignment with the organization's long-term goals.
  • Guide and manage cross-departmental teams, ensuring the knowledge management (KM) strategy is integrated into the broader organizational learning strategies.
  • Ensure legal and operational compliance across all content and database records, taking ownership of risk management related to KM practices.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of instructional designers, graphic designers, and other relevant staff, ensuring high-quality outputs and a well-maintained graphics database.
  • Develop and implement regular review processes for the knowledge base, identifying areas for improvement and expansion, and leading the team in executing these updates.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for knowledge base users, gathering feedback to continuously enhance training effectiveness.
  • Craft and manage a strategic roadmap for knowledge management, incorporating industry best practices, tools, and process advancements to drive organizational efficiency.
  • Champion and promote a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization, serving as a key advocate for KM initiatives at all levels.
  • Establish and review KPIs for knowledge management, monitoring adoption, usage, and effectiveness of KM content, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Lead resource planning initiatives, ensuring the KM team is well-equipped to meet organizational needs and expand KM initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the KM Framework workflow and procedures, scaling them as the organization grows.
  • Act as the organization’s thought leader on KM implementation, sharing insights, best practices, and driving innovation in knowledge management.
  • Identify and address key challenges in KM cultural adoption, developing and executing programs to overcome barriers and enhance the value of KM within the organization.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of current proven experience in implementing KM strategies.
  • Experience in building KM programs in the technology industry or within technical groups within a large, global organization.
  • Experience communicating with and influencing senior leadership as well as framing discussions to gain valuable feedback and experience.
  • Experience in leading a team that implemented a knowledge management framework.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong written English language skills.
