You will oversee the implementation and ongoing management of our new HRIS system (Workday), support delivery of cross-functional end-to-end system solutions, and partner with our People to define and optimize processes. As a hands-on technical expert, you’ll lead all strategic design, modification, and maintenance of People systems. This position assesses technology solutions and makes recommendations for the long-term HR technology plan. What You’ll Be Doing:Manage Workday implementation consultants in the design and build out of Workday, including gathering requirements, developing timelines, and stakeholder managementTranslate functional requirements into technical specifications for development, data mapping, function mapping, setting of development tables, and setting of transaction/control tablesResponsible for both back-end and front-end Workday design and administrationBuild a People Operations roadmap and project manage the deployment of Workday enhancements, including new processes and reportingKeep up-to-date on Workday and other HR system enhancements, regulatory changes, state and local requirements and new releases that would be beneficial to implementIdentify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes across the People team in conjunction with our HRIS roadmap and leadershipDevelop procedures to maintain the data integrity of all Peoplesystems, including Workday, Greenhouse and ADP Support with documentation of new and or evolving People Operations processesCollaborate with cross-functional partners to drive improvements, including Total Rewards, Finance, Organizational Development, Payroll, and others.Act as first point of escalation for troubleshooting HRIS issues sent by the help desk, HR and end-usersWhat You'll Add to DigitalOcean:Minimum 5 years hand-on Workday configuration, customization, and support experience requiredExpertise in Workday System Administration, Security and Workday reportingStrong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now strongly desiredBambooHR & Talent applications (Greenhouse) experience a plusAbility to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirementsDeep knowledge of Workday data sources and complex calculated fieldsWhy You’ll Like Working for DigitalOcean:We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $115,000-$135,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.We value development.
