About the job Head Project Management - Industrial Plant
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the PMO as the central hub for all project-related activities by envisioning and developing complete blueprints for end-to-end project management processes.
Project Planning and Execution, develop and maintain comprehensive project documents, including technical specifications (BOQs, RFPs), interim progress reports, and completion reports.
Manage the effective use of project management tools to ensure clear objectives, measurable milestones, and a positive work environment, while fostering professional development, active engagement, and motivation within the Project Management Team. Conduct periodic reviews and assessments to evaluate project performance, involving stakeholder meetings, performance evaluations.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight, prepare annual budgetary proposals for capex and opex related to PMO operations and submit these to solicit approval from the respective authority.
Procurement and Vendor Management, Oversee the relevant part of the procurement process by developing procurement plans, evaluating technical bids, and ensuring timely requisition and submission of BOQs and RFPs for approval from relevant forums.
Team Development and Stakeholder Management.
Risk Management, Quality Assurance, HSE and legal Compliance, implement rigorous quality assurance processes, conducting regular inspections and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO certifications and EPA requirements.
Education:
Bachelors degree in relevant field of Engineering (with a valid Pakistan Engineering Council Registration).
Masters Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in green field / brown field industrial projects, preferably having 7 years in a role of Project Manager or Head of Project Management Office.
Candidate(s) with recent experience of execution of industrial Plant Projects as Project Manager or Head of PMO will be preferred.
Preferred Certification(s) / Requirement(s):
Prince II (Practitioner Level) or PMP certification.
Age: Ideal age of the prospective candidate(s) would be around 50 years.
