Description :Grade Level: L4Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 8 January 2025What is Head of Verticals Incubation?As the Head of Verticals Incubation, the incumbent plays a pivotal role in supporting the Head of New Business Development (NBD) in strategic growth initiatives within the dynamic Tech sector. The NBD team is a strategic unit in the Strategy division that aims to unlock new growth opportunities for Jazz. These growth opportunities may include a) amplifying/restructuring our current focus areas or verticals and/or b) delving into new growth areas.The individual works closely with diverse teams to identify and capitalize on lucrative business prospects through market analysis and strategic alliances. Additionally, they will oversee the incubation process for new ideas and initiatives, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams throughout the development cycle.Responsibilities include assisting in expanding horizons by tapping into various market segments such as Insurance, Education, Health, Agriculture, and more.The role reports directly to the Vice President of New Business Development, M&A and Fintech Future and has at least 1 team member reporting into to the role. What Head of Verticals Incubation does? The role encompasses strategic planning and execution of new business ventures, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and market opportunities Responsibilities include assisting in expanding horizons by tapping into various market segments such as Fintech, Insurance, Education, Health, Agriculture, and more. End-to-end coordination with various stakeholders of projects with the support of PMO team to ensure timely and accurate execution of the project. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential areas for expansion, and competitive threats. Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by encouraging creative thinking, experimentation, and the pursuit of disruptive ideas. A key aspect would be to build and maintain relationships with external partners, investors, and industry experts to support the growth and success of venture initiatives. To provide visibility and tracking on specific criteria and KPIs such as top line growth, profitability, customers, organic or inorganic valuation play etc. to be agreed according to growth opportunity and strategic ambition of specific vertical. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including but not limited to product development, marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of growth initiatives. Assess and mitigate risks associated with new ventures and initiatives, ensuring that potential challenges are identified and addressed proactively. Create compelling data driven presentations that helps drive decision making management, board, and steering committee levels.
