Head of Project Management

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client, a leading Energy organization, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

The position of Head- Project Management will report to Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for driving the successful development and execution of our renewable energy projects. We are seeking a visionary leader with a strong track record in project management, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to navigate complex project landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project management strategy for the company's renewable energy initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers to ensure successful project delivery
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Develop and ensure implementation of the procurement strategy for the company's renewable energy projects
• Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards in project execution
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to senior management
• Foster a culture of innovation, sustainability, and excellence within the project management team
• Maintain detailed project planning aligned with Business Development team
• Conduct resource planning resolve conflicts, mitigate risks and resolve potential challenges
• Manage site execution and modification works whilst engaging the necessary resources & closing the job with final costing analysis
• Manage contract modifications and drawing approvals with the support of Technical team as per inputs from the vendor / client /end user
• Develop plans & take initiatives to improve Performance Ratio of the renewables projects

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in, Business Administration, Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 5-7 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial power, electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, upgrades, and energy services
• Experience in renewable project management is a plus
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Comprehensive understanding of renewable energy technologies, regulations, and market dynamics
• Project management certification is a plus

Age

• The candidate should be preferably not more than 45 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
