What is Head of Enterprise Policy Advocacy?
The Head of Enterprise Policy Advocacy will spearhead initiatives to shape policy, foster strategic alliances, and engage with government bodies, regulators, donors, and key stakeholders to create a supportive environment for Jazz’s enterprise business, particularly sales teams. This role will emphasize facilitating collaboration models such as the triple helix approach, driving GovTech initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance while actively ensuring revenue goals are achieved.
The role reports directly to the Head of B2G with an extended team of 3 members.
What does Head of Enterprise Policy Advocacy do?
· Policy Advocacy & Thought Leadership:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive policy advocacy strategy to influence government policies and regulations to support enterprise business landscape development.
o Represent Jazz in high-level discussions with government officials, regulators, and industry bodies to advocate for digital transformation and innovation.
o Position Jazz as a thought leader in the B2G space by contributing to policy papers, white papers, and industry forums.
· Strategic Alliances & Partnerships:
o Build and nurture strategic alliances with government entities, donors, academia, and private sector partners to drive collaborative initiatives.
o Support sales teams in identifying and capitalizing on partnership opportunities that align with Jazz’s strategic goals.
o Ensure revenue targets are met by securing high-value contracts and alliances.
o Drive the triple helix model by fostering collaboration between public, private, and academic institutions to advance innovation and digital transformation.
o Benchmarking best practices for designing framework with government entities.
· High-Level Donor Engagement:
o Engage with international donors, development agencies, and multilateral organizations to secure funding and support for Jazz’s B2G initiatives.
o Develop and present proposals to donors, highlighting Jazz’s capabilities and alignment with their objectives.
o Ensure effective utilization of donor funds and compliance with reporting requirements.
· GovTech & Digital Transformation:
o Lead efforts to position Jazz as a key enabler of GovTech initiatives, working closely with government entities to modernize public services through technology.
o Identify opportunities for Jazz to contribute to national digital transformation agendas and drive impactful projects.
· Regulatory Compliance & Advocacy:
o Monitor and analyze regulatory developments that impact Jazz’s enterprise B2G business.
o Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
o Advocate for regulatory reforms that support innovation and business growth.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and technology teams to align advocacy efforts with business objectives.
o Provide strategic guidance to sales teams on navigating the B2G landscape and leveraging policy opportunities.
o Act as a bridge between Jazz and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of initiatives.

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head of Enterprise Policy Advocacy?
· Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Business, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
· Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in policy advocacy, government relations, or a related field, with a focus on B2G or enterprise business.
· Proven track record of influencing policy and building strategic alliances with government entities, donors, and regulators.
· Strong understanding of the triple helix model, GovTech, and digital transformation initiatives.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to engage with high-level stakeholders and represent the organization at senior forums.
· Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in Pakistan.
