Job description: Frontend Developer
Job Summary:
As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications tailored for ChromeOS and Samsung Tizen. You will utilize your expertise in React and TypeScript to create dynamic, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to bring our products to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive, dynamic, and visually appealing user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Build and optimize applications for ChromeOS and Samsung Tizen platforms.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
- Utilize platform-specific SDKs, libraries, and APIs for ChromeOS and Tizen development.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications across devices and platforms.
- Debug and troubleshoot platform-specific issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in React, TypeScript, ChromeOS, and Tizen.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and modular codebase.
- Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of frontend development experience with a strong portfolio of applications.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript with hands-on experience building scalable web applications.
- Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Familiarity with ChromeOS development tools (e.g., Chrome Extensions, PWAs) and Tizen Web APIs.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the Samsung Tizen SDK and Emulator.
- Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and deploying them on ChromeOS.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks, such as Jest, Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of WebAssembly, WebGL, or other advanced web technologies.
- Experience with media streaming protocols for Tizen Smart TVs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.Understanding of agile development methodologies.
