If you are passionate about ensuring financial integrity, optimizing financial processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company’s growth and stability then this role is just for you.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BETake full responsibility for the end-to-end financial accounting process and reporting in the market.Aid the successful enablement of a standalone Ice Cream Company by working closely with the local establishment lead and other key stakeholders.To provide subject matter expertise related to accounting knowledge especially the local accounting standards and statutory requirements.Ensure full compliance with latest global and local accounting standards.Perform local statutory reporting in compliance with the latest local accounting standards.Ensure smooth delivery and effective external audit fieldwork and ensuring no audit deficiency for all audit matters.Ensure effective management of all input to financial systems and the controls.To ensure the integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practice.On top of any key issues in financial accounting and reporting and delivers efficient responses through implementation of the right procedures.Maintain formal relationship with the Operating Centres and 3PSPs.Hold COMEX responsible to deliver results as per agreed tasks and timeline.Consistently work to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvements for simplification and operational effectiveness.Oversee account payable/TreasuryDrive Cash agenda with the support from cross functional teamDevelop and nurture the team.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & QualificationsFully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a recognized professional body.7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and controlling, preferably within the FMCG industry.Strong Financial Accounting skills – IFRS knowledge.Experience in areas of financial accounting, controlling and risk management within consumer goods industry.Strong knowledge of key Finance processes in R2R area.Experience working with large complex data from multiple sources.Experience managing local, regional, and global stakeholders.Experience in presenting to and communicating with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.SkillsStrong organizational and leadership skillsStrong interpersonal / communication skillsInformation and Risk ManagementProblem SolvingResilience (ability to cope with time pressure and challenges)High degree of flexibility and ability to quickly understand new topicsAbility to work collaboratively with the team and other key stakeholdersStrong engagement and change management skillsAbility to present complex information in a simplified mannerAbility to develop and nurture teamLeadershipYou are an inclusive motivator of people.
