Job Description:

Financial and Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting and analysis, for their area, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory, statutory and control frameworks. 


Work includes: 


•Managing accounting and financial risk and providing advice and guidance on strategic initiatives (driven by internal policies and/or external regulation) and new products that impact the entities /processes /utilities with their remit 


•Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis   and representing their respective function in relevant internal and external forum.
 
Developing innovative business solutions and providing strategic advice and guidance to support the execution of business strategy, mitigation of risks and achievement of the bank’s/regions’/Division’s objectives


•             Execute end to end process of financial statements as per local requirements.


•             Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to regulators. Also act as back up.


•             Ensure KOPs for regulatory reports and improve V&C for new and existing reports.


•             Coordinate with External / Regulatory / Internal Audit teams for audit related issues / queries.


•             Focal point in Local Finance for taxation, which includes filings/ notices/ audit/ monitoring and general liaison with tax consultant for varying organization needs.


•             Supervise Accounts and Payments section, including insurance matters.


•             Perform Balance Sheet Substantiation of assigned areas as PAO / SAO.


•             Act as BCM Coordinator for Finance and fulfil related deliverables.


•             Prepare / back-up / support for ALCO / OPCO monthly information.


•             Profit remittance to Head office.


•             Correspondence with FCO team for all related requirements.


•             Guiding and training team for various day to day tasks.


•             Support Finance management in information sourcing / decision making / others.


•             Managing all staff reporting to me that includes support, counselling, training need assessment, appraisal etc.
