What is Expert RAN Planning?
The preferred candidate must have experience in a RAN Planning, design, and dimensioning role and is technically savvy with solid multivendor (Huawei and ZTE). The applicant should have hands-on experience using radio planning/Optimization tools, and Microsoft oHice suite and can carry out projects and tasks independently.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to advocate/defend what is right—even if it comes to conflict/disagreement with the management—with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints
You will be reporting to the HQ RAN Planning Manager and will be deputed at JAZZ headquarters Islamabad. You will have 7 peers who will be striving with you to accomplish routine tasks
What Expert RAN Planning does?
- Develop the planning strategy and guideline for future.
- Articulate the low-level design of diHerent layers/ new technologies.
- Develop the hardware BOQ (Bill of quantities) based on the design solution.
- Vendor & project Management.
- Monitoring, reporting, and Benchmarking of all major and minor activities in the network that may have an impact on user experience.
- Trials of latest features and technologies.
- Network audits and standardization on discrepancies in network.
- Remain updated on all current policies, procedures, promotions, products and up sell value added services oHered by the company.
- Take ownership and ensure timely execution of tasks/projects.
- Create a culture that supports the transformation agenda by embedding values’based behaviors in our ways of work.
- You will work with internal and external stakeholders including radio vendors, departmental heads/manager, technology, Commercial and Regulatory teams and all functions of the company for eHective planning and delivery of projects and tasks.
- A collaborative eHort will result in capable and mature people leaders who drive the transformation journey at Jazz while caring for and growing their team members.
- Ensure proper behavior/discipline/grooming/punctuality as per the requirements and image of the company.

Requirements
- RAN planning Experience of 6-10 years.
- Knowledge of Future technologies and capable of having its trials and rollout which are beneficial for the network.
- Deep dive knowledge of all RAT (LTE, UMTS, 2G) RAN planning & design.
- Should have multi vendors Hardware product knowledge and its Site solutions.
- Innovative and should be able to come up with out of the box solutions.
- Should have Multivendor Hardcore radio planning skill set.
- Knowledge of future technologies and ability to carry out future technology trials.
- Communication and presentations skills to make solutions/ideas understandable for respective audience segments.
- Drive for results to own initiatives and continuously evolve in line with analysis and feedback.
- Ability to work eHectively in a pressure and multitasking environment.
- Expertise in vendor performance monitoring tools and drive test tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft OHice.
