ERP Consultant – Procurement and Payment Operations

Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced ERP Consultant with a strong focus on procurement, spend analysis, reporting, and payment operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Procurement team to optimize our ERP systems, ensure seamless reporting, and improve operational efficiency. This role will play a critical part in managing spend data, analyzing procurement trends, and enhancing payment turnaround time (TAT) reporting.

Key Responsibilities
ERP System Management

• Configure and manage ERP tools for procurement and payment operations, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Optimize ERP modules for spend analysis, reporting, and payment workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve ERP-related issues.

Spend Analysis & Reporting

• Develop and maintain spend analysis dashboards and reports.
• Provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on procurement data trends.
• Create automated reporting tools for procurement performance, including TAT and payment operations.

Payment Operations

• Oversee the integration of payment operations into the ERP system.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of payment TAT metrics.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to streamline payment workflows and improve accuracy.

Process Optimization

• Identify inefficiencies in current procurement and payment processes and recommend system improvements.
• Work with stakeholders to implement system changes that align with compliance and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Procurement, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) are a plus.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as an ERP consultant, preferably in a procurement or finance-related role.
• Proven expertise in spend analysis, procurement reporting, and payment operations.
• Experience with integrating and customizing ERP systems for Procurement processes. For eg, e-sourcing, e-RFQs, and using AI for P2P operations.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP tool, Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with SQL and data management is a plus.
