General Summary:
Experience: 1-3 Years
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Golang, Kubernetes, OCP platform, EKS-A platform, containerization, and manifest language.
Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in shell scripting, Linux, udev infrastructure, and the virtual file system of Linux.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain our custom Go operator that handles the bring-up of the PCIE card and manages the life cycle of various resources needed for boot and functioning of the card.
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on OCP and EKS-A platforms.
Implement containerization solutions and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Write and maintain manifest files for Kubernetes deployments.
Create and maintain shell scripts for automation and system management tasks.
Understand and manage udev rules and their interpretation in Linux.
Work with the virtual file system in Linux.
Manage firmware image transfers for PCIE connected cards using nbdkit.
Understand the intricate aspects of managing specialized hardware such as PCIE cards, including firmware transfer, boot stages, and interpreting changes in /dev nodes during boot time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the tech stack and flow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software development using Golang.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OCP platform, and EKS-A platform.
Experience with containerization technologies and manifest language.
Proficiency in shell scripting and Linux system administration.
In-depth understanding of udev infrastructure, virtual file system and device driver model in Linux.
Experience with PCIE connected cards and firmware image transfers using nbdkit.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
Familiarity with atleast one other programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
