DB Admin

Inbox Business Technologies, a leading provider of information technology and services, is seeking a skilled DB Admin to join our team. As a DB Admin, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our databases. You will work closely with our development and infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth operation of our database systems.

• We are looking for individuals with bachelor’s degrees in computer science, or Information Technology. Strong communication & problem-solving skills are also required.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for the production database environment and respond to off-hour emergencies.
• Install and configure new database environments for Oracle and MS SQL Server as required.
• Assist in managing database systems to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Create new database users, manage user roles, and assign privileges as needed.
• Perform regular housekeeping activities, such as monitoring and reporting on production databases.
• Monitor database performance, identify issues, and help implement optimization solutions.
• Support backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related projects and initiatives.
