By incorporating leading best practices and collaborating with teams of architects, you are an integral part of carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job responsibilitiesExecutes data architecture solutions and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces data architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentEvaluates data architecture designs and provides feedback on recommendations Represents their team in architectural governance bodiesLeads the data architecture team in evaluating new technologies to modernize the architecture using existing data standards and frameworkGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of data frameworks, applications, and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to data architecture communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceStrong knowledge of one or more software applications and data architecture development Ability to evaluate current technologies to recommend ways to optimize data architecture Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficiency in coding in one or more languagesExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and securityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Strong hands-on experience in Data modeling, Data Warehousing Experience on SQL, PLSQL JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
