As a Data & Analytics Specialist you will be responsible for the stakeholder management, requirement gathering, development and implementation of different analytics initiatives in collaboration with other stakeholders and team members within the same business line.

Your Opportunity
As a Data & Analytics Specialist, you will be expected to
Implement analytics and data visualizations in Tableau, Looker Studio, or equivalent.
Prepare the data for the visualization in gSheets, SQL, python, or similar, either locally or in an AWS/GCP cloud environment.
Lead and facilitate requirement gathering and translate user requirements into technical specifications.
Partner with colleagues, peers and stakeholders globally, and work on initiatives and projects in different regions and time zones.
Build and strengthen relationships with other departments/groups across Roche to help identify synergies and streamline redundancies.
Participate in deployment of analytics projects to meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, and performance.
Create and manage documentation for different data science / visualization projects.
Collaborate in an agile and cross-functional team with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Automation experts as well as business experts, so our Roche peers and patients will receive AMAZING solutions.
Perform demos, project reviews, and retrospectives; communicate ideas for continuous improvement and willingly receive feedback for self-improvement.
Participate in exploratory projects to evaluate new technologies and establish new services.
Embrace new ways of working with fast iterations, lean documentation and planning, close alignment to our colleagues from business and IT and close communication across global teams.

Bachelor’s Degree (Masters is a plus) ideally in computer science, statistics, information systems, finance/economics or equivalent experience in the area of data & analytics
5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a multicultural environment with global processes (Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT)
Tools & systems proficiency in either Tableau, Looker Studio or equivalent
Excellent analytical, end to end thinking mindset and behavior
Familiar and comfortable with agile ways of working and adaptable to changing environments
Strong communication, networking skills, someone who enjoys working with others and acts as a team player
Strong customer centric, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to propose different solutions for the customers’ needs
Strategic and holistic mindset with the ability to manage topics in agile / matrix organizations
English is a must, additional languages a plus
