Position: Credit Manager
Reporting to: Senior Credit Manager
Required experience: 4-6 years
Required qualification: BBA/MBA in Economics/Business/Finance. CFA and/or FRM certifications will be an added advantage
Skills & Expertise Required:
-Comprehensive knowledge of financial due diligence and risk management (experience in assessing the credit risk of infrastructure project companies/Banking/NBFI/Financial Services/Corporate Sector).
-4 to 6 years experience in credit risk management in corporate/ investment banking.
-Prior experience in PPP, structuring project finance, and financing infrastructure related assets is highly preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
-Analyze project information, financial statements and cash flows to determine the qualitative and quantitative credit risks
-Develop appropriate credit risk, cash flow and financial models to analyse the feasibility of various project finance transactions.
-Engage with understanding the rating methodology of rating agencies for rating of the underlying infrastructure projects and align the Company's risk evaluation framework against the requirements of the rating agencies.
-Assist in developing acceptable credit solutions to address risks embedded in prospective guarantee transactions.
-Have an understanding of IFRS 9 and ability to evaluate expected loss potential vis-à-vis frequency (probability) and severity (loss given default) for guarantee transactions to be included in Expected Credit Loss calculation requirements.
-Monitor and report the companys portfolio and capital parameters against the respective limits pertaining to aggregate limits, concentration and other requirements of the regulators and rating agencies.
-Engage with relevant rating agencies to ensure the maintenance of companys rating and provide guidance to the Management with respect to the impact of the Companys business plans on its ratings.
-Seek appropriate risk mitigation arrangements via counter guarantees and/or reinsurance to manage the companys portfolio limits.
-Ensure all regulatory compliance areas are adequately covered.
