Construction Estimator (Fencing)

Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid in I-9/2, Islamabad
Timings: 04 PM - 1 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)
Skills: Blue beam, Plan swift, BuilderTrend or similar CRM systems is preferred, Fluency in ENGLISH is a MUST
Job Overview:
The Construction Estimator is responsible for reading plans, performing takeoffs, and preparing accurate estimates for potential projects. This individual will work closely with the VP of Sales and the Estimation team to ensure the smooth transition of projects from bid to execution. Over time, the Estimator is expected to perform estimates independently. Proficiency in PlanSwift and Bluebeam is essential, along with a solid understanding of construction processes and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
    •    Plan Review & Takeoffs: Accurately read and interpret construction plans to perform material takeoffs.
    •    Project Identification: Identify potential projects through bid invites and plan software.
    •    Research & Documentation: Gather and document key project details, including bidders, bid dates, and customer contact information.
    •    CRM Management: Enter sales leads and convert quotes into the CRM system (BuilderTrend).
    •    Quote Preparation: Prepare project quotes, including specifications, measurements, takeoffs, and any special provisions.
    •    Bid Follow-ups & Close-outs: Track bid status, follow up on leads, and document reasons for lost bids. Ensure proper project close-out.
    •    Team Collaboration: Work closely with Estimation and Sales teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
Qualifications:
    •    Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.
    •    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
    •    Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with PlanSwift and Bluebeam is required.
    •    Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
    •    CRM Experience: Familiarity with BuilderTrend or similar CRM systems is preferred.
