What is Cybersecurity Presales Expert about?

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Presales Expert. As a key member of the presales team, you will provide expert guidance on cybersecurity solutions, helping our clients protect their digital assets while driving sales opportunities. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their security needs, design tailored solutions, and present the technical value of our offerings. What does Cybersecurity Presales Expert do?

• Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to assess customer requirements, identify security gaps, and propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
• Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring they address the customer’s unique business and technical requirements.
• Product Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Conduct engaging product demonstrations and hands-on PoCs to showcase the technical capabilities of our cybersecurity solutions.
• Consultative Selling: Engage in a consultative sales approach, educating prospects on the value and benefits of comprehensive cybersecurity measures.
• Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and workshops to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating the effectiveness of our cybersecurity products and services.
• RFP/RFI Assistance: Support the sales team by contributing to the creation of technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, demonstrating how our cybersecurity solutions align with the client’s needs.
• Threat & Risk Assessments: Help clients assess their cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, making recommendations for improvement in areas such as network security, endpoint protection, identity & access management, and data security.
• Industry Expertise: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements to provide informed guidance to customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, and Platform team to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development and strategy.

 Required Skills & Experience

 Experience: 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity domain, with at least 2-3 years in a similar role around presales, technical consultancy and solutions architecting.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security technologies and platforms such as firewalls, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), XDR (Extended Detection and Response), and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

Cybersecurity Knowledge: Expertise in a range of cybersecurity technologies including platform security, network security, endpoint security, cloud security, identity & access management, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.

Certifications: Industry-recognized cybersecurity or OEM-specific certifications preferably Fortinet, TrendMicro and Cloudflare.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

Sales Acumen: Ability to work closely with sales teams and support the creation of compelling security proposals and presentations.

Customer-Centric Approach: A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address client challenges, providing valuable solutions and guidance.
