Job summary
Responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing all aspects of the organization's operations, ensuring the effective delivery of programs, securing funding, and representing the foundation to stakeholders, all while aligning with the organization's mission and values to create positive social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with mission and vision, including program goals, financial sustainability, and growth strategies.
-Lead the organization's vision and direction, setting clear priorities and objectives.
-Providing support for projects, with a view to enabling convergence across various areas of primary education within the region.
-Conduct regular reviews of the organization's performance against strategic goals and make necessary adjustments.
-Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including program delivery, finance, operations, and compliance.
-Ensure efficient use of resources and effective management of budgets.
- Managing & formulate the daily operation of food distribution at various sites / locations.
-Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and reporting, making necessary improvements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to secure necessary funding for programs and operations from the executive committee.
-Manage grant proposals, donor reports and activities.
-Represent at public events, conferences, and meetings.
-Advocate for policy changes related to the requirements at the local, national, and international levels.
Job Specifications:
Education: Bachelors in social sciences and/or other relevant discipline.
Experience: 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in the NGO/social sector
