Could you be the full-time Mechanical Design Engineer in our dynamic team located in Hyderabad we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your detailed-oriented and innovative expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You'll contribute to the evolution of transportation by performing 3D modelling, design annotations, and ensuring interface integrity. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Manufacturing, Quality Control, Design), check 3D interfaces for external design, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of modelizing and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components in Digital Mock-Up, but also performing detailed design on internal sub-systems.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring on-time delivery and maturity of Digital Mock-Ups
Preventing clashes and respecting weight allocations in designs
Performing detailed design annotations and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments
Verifying digital mock-up consistency and compliance with requirements
Documenting Mechanical Domain Design Reviews as instructed
Updating Digital Mock-Ups with Change Requests
Checking Design Quality of CADs and subcontractors

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 5 years of experience, with a preference for 2 to 3 years in Railway products
Strong foundation in engineering principles
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proven time management and prioritization abilities
Organized and hands-on approach to tasks
Operational proficiency in English for reading/writing and technical discussions
Capability to perform stack-up analysis and realize Bill of Material
Openness to continuous learning and improvement
